Manufacturing of metal structures

Representing a significant portion of our products are metal structures and partly mechanically/electronically fitted air conditioning enclosures, switching and controlling cabinets, custom-made sheet metal parts and cable ducts.

Most of the structures produced by us are delivered for further processing or sale in a coated condition, which operation is performed in our modern paint shop opened in 2006.

We produce a variety of metal structures from steel, stainless steel, and aluminium sheets.

Our CNC-controlled bending machines are capable of the high-precision bending of aluminium, stainless steel and steel, up to 5 mm thickness in case of sheets of 3 metres.

Welding

Welding

Our welders are TÜV-certified, on the basis of which we can undertake the gas-shielded MIG and TIG welding of thin sheets and thick plates.

We undertake the engraving and marking of aluminium, stainless steel and steel plates, and we use these technologies in case of various steel structures.

Surface Treatment

Built in 2006, our paint shop with an annual capacity of 400,000 square metres, is equipped for the electrostatic powder coating of various metallic surfaces (aluminium, stainless steel, steel), with the application of such preparation technologies that ensure the proper quality of the coating in all cases.

We have a closed-system, spray pre-treatment system, built in full compliance with the relevant European standards, which uses chromium-free chemicals, with attention to the criteria of environmental and health protection.

The coating of the pre-treated parts may take place, in accordance with the needs of the customer, with solvent-based, water-based or powder coating technology.

The weight of the parts to be surface treated and coated may be up to 500 kg, with a maximum dimension of 7.0 x 1.4 x 2.5 metres, which is unique in Hungary.

Our surface treatment technologies

Our features:

  • closed-system, three-phase spray pre-treatment system (alkaline degreasing, acid marination, conversion layer)
  • maximum dimensions of the parts to be coated: 1,400 x 2,500 x 7,000 mm
  • extensive and documented inspection in our own lab
  • the application of qualified procedures and paints
  • project management with extensive experience, consultancy in the fields of coating and pre-treatment

We also have wastewater treatment equipment of 1500 m³/h capacity, and water desalination equipment of 500 m³/h capacity. Our hazardous wastes are managed by a specialized contractor.

Tunnel-system, three-zone (degreasing, acid marination, passivation, rinsing in tap water/saltless water) spray pre-treatment with the formation of a chemically highly resistant titanium zirconium surface film layer. Water drying in the range of 60-100 °C.

Manual quartz sand blasting and glass beading, done in separate booths in order to avoid contamination.

The powder coating is performed in our paint shop with the use of 2 GEMA OptiStar type manual, as well as 1 OptiStar semi-automatic spraying equipment.

Solvent-based coating takes place in our SAIMA type paint booth of 9 m length, 4 m width and 4 m height, with manual paint sprays operating at up to 4 bars pressure. Drying at up to 80 °C. Ventilation flow rate of 33,000 m³/hour

Water-based coating takes place in our SAIMA type paint booth of 9 m length, 4 m width and 4 m height, with manual paint sprays operating at up to 4 bars pressure. Drying at up to 80 °C. Ventilation flow rate of 33,000 m³/hour.

Electrical Equipment Manufacturing

We manufacture low-voltage electrical switch equipment up to 150 kA short circuit breaking capacity, up to 7200 A current.

Field switching equipment, main switching equipment, main and sub-distribution switchgear, motor controllers, controlling equipment and installation distributors in wall-mounted and wall-inserted versions, with protection ratings up to IP65, for a diverse area of use, including any type of industrial application, hospitals, shopping centres, schools, banks, office buildings, data centres, transportation or railway technology. In our switchgear equipment, we only use the products and devices of internationally known and recognized manufacturers, which satisfy the demands of our customers in every respect.

Our low-voltage electrical switch equipment is manufactured in compliance with the IEC 61439 international standard, as well as the relevant requirements of the VDE and MSZ, but we also make equipment, based on prior consultation, in accordance with other standards in effect.

On the basis of the drawings of the distribution equipment, our colleagues prepare the product design, which takes into consideration, in addition to the relevant standards, also the special requirements of the manufacturer of the given product.

The characteristics of our workshop and of the work supervision system allow the simultaneous manufacturing of up to 100 units, which may be identical or different.

The on-site installation of the manufactured devices has some special requirements, the ignoring of which may also affect the operation. Proper installation is necessary in order to ensure the perfect operation, which can be carried out by our specialists.

Cable Confection

We have been engaged in cable confectioning and making cable assemblies since 1984, initially as an automotive supplier, and later we switched to the small and medium-volume serial production of industrial purpose cable assemblies.

Building on the experiences accumulated over the course of more than 30 years, we manufacture cable assemblies typically for the controllers of machine tools, drives, controlling equipment and switchgears.

All of our products are approved for shipping only after individual testing, which is carried out by computer-controlled measuring and inspection equipment.

We currently manufacture nearly 800 types of cable assemblies ranging from simple bridge wires (with diameters from 0.14 to 6 mm2) to the most complex cable assemblies (flat ribbon cables with 10 to 64 poles), also including cable assemblies installed in the cable ducts of tunnels supplying electricity for underground (metro) trains.

Single and multiple wire, coaxial and flat ribbon cables are cut by our Komax automatic cable cutter, as well as our Schleuniger cutting and stripping machine. We undertake the confectioning of different cables between the sizes of 0.11 m2 and 300 mm2.

In addition to cable confectioning, we also engage in the serial production of electrical switchgear cabinets.The preparation of the different wires and cables takes place in our cable confectioning plant.
